There are many great residential subdivisions in town, offering safety and a real sense of community. Family is important in Carstairs. Check out the many programs we offer young families. Our recreation facilities include soccer fields, tennis courts, arena and curling rink, as well as a splash park now in the planning stages. The campground is simply beautiful, and features a replica grain elevator with many historical items on exhibit.

Permits and Licenses with BizPal
BizPaL is an online service run by Industry Canada, in partnership with several provincial and local governments. The service simplifies the processes for permit applications, business licences and other compliance regulations for entrepreneurs, governments, and third party business service providers, by providing Canadian businesses with one-stop access to permit and licence information for federal, provincial and municipal governments.

BizPal is a tool that residents of Carstairs, or soon to be residents, can use to access all building permits, licences, etc. that they would need for any given project. It might range from building a deck to starting a new pub in town.
