TheTown of Cartairs FCSS is provincial and municipal partnership committed to designing and delivering social programs that are preventative in nature to promote well-being among individuals, families, and community.  All programs and services aim to affirm and strengthen community capacity by modeling the principles of family support (FRfP Canada*) in all activities including planning, governance and administration.  *Carstairs FCSS is a member of FRP: Family Resource Programs of Canada.  Carstairs FCSS funds and partners with local organizations to provide programs and services that are flexible and responsive to emerging family and community needs.   Some of them are:

2015 FCSS Community Grant Program

Carstairs FCSS provides annual grant opportunities for preventative social programming to non-profit groups working in the Town of Carstairs.  These groups must meet the eligibility criteria set out by the FCSS Mandate.  Grant applications are now available for 2016 applicants (link).   Deadline for 2016 Grants is November 13, 2015.
