Carstairs Connections

"Many would be surprised to learn that the greatest contribution to the health of the nation over the past 150 years was made, not by doctors or hospitals, but by local government."

Dr. Jessie Parfitt, Oxford

Carstairs Connections is a group of your friends and neighbours working towards a long term vision of a healthy community.  The group formed in 2006 with the passing of a Healthy Community resolution by Town Council.  The active group includes representation from the town, the health region, the school and community members.  Corresponding members include the Pharmasave, the Fire Department, the Pastoral Association, Parent Link, the Bob Clark Library, AADAC and other businesses and community members.

Carstairs Connections has quite a list of accomplishments over the years.
