Carstairs Connections

Carstairs Connections is a group of your friends and neighbours working towards a long term vision of a healthy community.  The group formed in 2006 with the passing of a Healthy Community resolution by Town Council. 
Carstairs Connections has accomplished many things over the years, most notably the "Wellness Is" signs above the Walking Track, the Outdoor Fitness Park and the "Why not Walk" signage.  They host The Walk for the Health of It Challenge, the Couch to 5K running program and the Movies Worth Talking About series.  Currently, they are leading a Diversity-Friendly Communities initiative.  A full listing of their accomplishments can be found here:
