Custom Woolen Mills
A working museum located near Carstairs, Alberta, they produce woolen and exotic fiber products on their unique industrial revolution machinery for over 25 years. Products include, carded wools, rovings, spinning rolls, batts, wool yarns, knitting kits, socks, comforters, mattress pads and hand woven blankets.

Music
Mountain View Music Festival
An annual event held August in Carstairs at Memorial Park. A showcase of more than 30 musical performances over three days, including an artisan's market, art gallery, artists merchandise tent, kid zone, Chamber car show and breakfast, night venues and beer gardens.
Parks & Campgrounds
The Carstairs Municipal Campground, is known as "The People Friendly Place", and serves as the Town's Visitor Information Centre during the summer.

Pearson Berry Farm

The Pearson Berry Farm is Canada's original native fruit farm established in 1969. Welcomes picnics, barbecue, lunches and brunches. Cottage sleeps up to six, self contained or B &B. Rodeo
Carstairs Rodeo is held in conjunction with the Beef and Barley Days on the third weekend of July. Junior Rodeo events are held on Friday night and Saturday. Events include barrel racing, poles, breakaway roping, keyhole, calf roping and goat tying. Held in Carstairs at the Rodeo Grounds and sanctioned by the Central Alberta Rodeo Association (CARA.) Swimming Pools & Water Parks
Carstairs new water park is open June 1 to September 1 yearly. Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Sunday throughout the summer months. Located in Memorial Park north of the curling rink. Come out and have fun getting wet.
The Cowboy Trail
Nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Canadian prairie, in the ranching country of Alberta is the historic Cowboy Trial which feature horse back trail rides, farm and ranch vacations, guest ranches, western themed attractions, accommodations, adventures, historic sites and western themed shopping. This 700 km route along Highway 22 is the source for western vacations and adventures.
The Blooming Fields
The Blooming Fields is a unique nursery and garden center in rural Alberta, located between Olds and Didsbury. It is a beautiful and serene place with gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains.
In the middle of the garden centre you find an intimate licensed restaurant. Healthy lunches are served, mostly prepared with fruit and vegetables from the organic garden, but the specialty is High Tea.
High Tea is an English Tradition. It is originally served late in the afternoon, but we are happy to serve you High Tea all day.
